When I use gradient tool to brighten only the dark side of a person, it brightens the whole picture. What am I doing wrong? I did everything like in the video. Thanks.

That’s really nice, I guess you could have darkened the ground inbetween them as well. But what really blew me away was the queality on your video, that’s… perfect.

why not just Level the your shadows down and your highlights up a little and play with brightness contrast?
this effect looks like theirs a Halo on the far right ladys head. I guess its just preference.
